RFU 'the varsity match' by Lowe London

3.0 1 Votes

The Rugby Football Union is launching a print campaign to promote the Varsity rugby match between Oxford & Cambridge at Twickenham on the December 12. The press and poster executions, created by Lowe London, dramatise the notorious competition between the two universities. The ads feature scoreboards displaying the different number of alumni from each university who have become poets laureate, prime ministers, Nobel prize winners or whose image has been used on a postage stamp. All the posters carry the strapline "It's time to get even". The comparative scores on each ad aim to promote debate amongst rugby fans and encourage people to buy tickets to the match. The ads will run in the national press from the end of October until the continue until the game.
