Philips Moisturising Shaving System 'robot' by DDB London

Philips is launching a £13.5m campaign to promote its Moisturising Shaving System for men with a striking TV ad created by DDB London, featuring a female robot giving her male master a shave.

The 60-second ad, which breaks this weekend, is complemented by minimalist off-beat electronic music reminiscent of Aphex Twin, while the ad itself bears a resemblance to a music video directed by Chris Cunningham for Bjork.

The TV spot is supported by online, experiential and point of sale promotion.
