Digital UK is raising awareness of digital switchover with a TV spot created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO.

The ad is rolling out ahead of the first digital switchover date, when the analogue signal in Cumbria is switched off on October 17.

The spot features an animated character called Digital Al, with the soundtrack provided by the classic Harry Nilsson song 'Everybody's Talkin''.

The campaign also includes a dedicated website at digitaltv.co.uk, where consumers can find out the date of switchover in their area by entering their postcode.
