Led Zeppelin 'Mothership' by Fold7

Design agency Fold7 has created a TV ad inspired by the album sleeve for Zed Leppelin's latest album 'Mothership'.

The spot weaves together the black airship featured on the album sleeve with the idea of Led Zeppelin's journey back to the stage.

It shows panic breaking out on the streets as people rush to see Led Zeppelin on the airship.

Cinema 4D, Illustrator and Photoshop were used to create the look for the city environment.

Three-dimensional environments were modelled and animated and then treated in After Effects to recreate the look of Shepard Fairey's distinctive album cover artwork.

Green-screen footage was edited in Final Cut and then graded in After Effects, while shake artists rotoscoped old footage of Led Zeppelin's performances.
