EDF Energy 'it's not easy being green' by Euro RSCG

3.6 16 Votes

EDF Energy created this ad from "recycled" film clips to promote its commitment to reducing the carbon intensity of its electricity production.

The footage includes visuals of flood scenes, an excerpt from JFK's speech stating that our environmental problems are man-made, and a clip from a 1950s government ad urging consumers to watch their meter.

The soundtrack is Sesame Street's 'It's Not Easy Being Green', adapted from the original version written by Joe Raposo in 1970.
