Ford 'next generation' by Ogilvy

Ford is promoting its green credentials with a 60-second TV ad due to roll out later on in the year. The ad was first shown at Global Environment Day on 5th June. A launch date for a national roll out has not yet been confirmed.

The campaign -- jointly created by Oglivy's offices in London and Stockholm -- aims to position Ford as a company that is seeking to benefit the world's "next generation" of humans and animals by using fuel technology that produces less CO2.

The spot opens on microscopic images of cells, accompanied by ethereal xylophone music. It includes images of elephant, polar bear and dolphin foetuses, which were created using state of the art film techniques.
