White Ribbon Alliance 'Mum' by Karmarama

Celebs at Glastonbury were branded with 'Mum' tattoos as Karmarama launched a campaign to raise awareness of the White Ribbon Alliance, a charity that seeks to stop women in developing countries dying during childbirth.

A series of films, screened at the stage areas around Glastonbury, drove people to the experiential activity where people could pledge their support by getting a 'mum' tattoo.

The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is a coalition made up of individuals and organisations working in over 100 countries to make pregnancy and childbrith safe for all women and newborns internationally.

The group will stage their next appeal at the G8 summit.
