What's your big ambition for the year ahead?

Growth. Threefold: personally, for my clients and for BBH.

Your mission: make advertising a desirable career for young people. What do you do?

Get them working closer to senior staffers more quickly. Young talent can end up feeling distant from the action because of the amount of hierarchy and titles in our industry. I prefer "hi-lo" team structures – very experienced people and very bright, young, ambitious people working together in small teams. More like you see in consulting.

Which industry leader has most impressed you with their ability to transform a business?

Christopher Bailey.

What's your most annoying professional trait?

I'm told I clap my hands together when I make a big point in a meeting. But, worryingly, I've never noticed myself doing it.

And what's your most embarrassing personal habit?

Hard to choose from my litany of OCD oddities.
