What's your big ambition for the year ahead?

The details of that are secret. But it involves W+K London continuing to be one of the best places on the planet for creative people of all kinds to come and do the best work of their lives.

Your mission: make advertising a desirable career for young people. What do you do?

I'd go and ask The Kennedys. They’re the group of brilliant and bright 17- to 20-year-olds, all from local schools, whom we currently have working in the agency. They’re here to learn a bit more about the industry and are blowing everyone away with their creativity. I think they’d be better placed to answer this than me.

Which industry leader has most impressed you with their ability to transform a business?

I’ve recently had the pleasure of spending time with Whitney Wolfe, founder and chief executive of Bumble. Her transformation of the dating category and now the world of business connections is nothing short of astonishing. And it’s all driven by genuinely held feminist beliefs. She’s unstoppable, inspirational and ace.

What's your most annoying professional trait?

Putting my hands up to speak in meetings. You’d think by this point I’d realise I’m no longer at school.

And what's your most embarrassing personal habit?

I think people would say my addiction to reality TV but, frankly, I think my obsession with the Real Housewives franchise is something to be celebrated, not scorned. So I’ll go for a weird foot thing I’ve done since I was little. I continually rub my foot against the nearest cushion when I’m watching TV; it’s a little weird, it’s a little pervy, it’s quietly annoying. My husband hates it.

You've invented yourself an AI assistant. What's the first thing you'd ask it to do?

Solve the tragedy that is short canine lifespans. I think that would be a brilliant use of super intelligence.

Which app would you redownload first after a digital detox?

Calm. I fall asleep every night to one of its bedtime stories. I’d be lost without it.

What's your side-hustle?

Miniature schnauzer care and maintenance.

What's your fantasy Campaign headline?

Miniature Schnauzer Care and Maintenance turns out to be surprise revenue driver of 2018.

What's the soundtrack to your life?

My life has fundamentally failed to live up to the high expectations set by John Hughes in the 1980s. Largely because I’ve yet to go to an American high school. But I’d still say Pretty in Pink. I often walk to work with the Psychedelic Furs.
