Give us one reason why advertising is still brilliant in 2019.

There has never been a time in the history of our industry when there has been more opportunity to be brilliant, to showcase outstanding ideas and relevant creativity that delivers effects for brands. Yes, it’s complex; yes, it’s ever evolving – but we need ideas more than ever.

In 2019, I'll be using blockchain to…

Really? Don’t think I will personally be using blockchain but I do hope it lives up to hype and delivers transparency in the digital supply chain in 2019

You decide to launch a brand. What is it called and what does it do?

Hmm, I’m not going to share my great ideas on here. Watch this space!

When was the last time you felt professionally vulnerable and why?

Every day, to be honest! Our industry is evolving so quickly I need to learn something new almost every single day and learn enough so I can help marketers navigate the Jackson-Pollock-painting-like compexities of the market and choose the right paths for their brands to grow.

Who is your favourite Instagrammer and why?

Is it crass to say my own accounts debbiemorrison3 and streets_roads_lanes? I’m fairly prolific on Insta and every day, when I look at my galleries, they remind me to be thankful of how rich my life really is.

You win the lottery. What would you do first?

Move to Italy.

Name one thing you think is criminally overrated by industry, society or culture and explain why.

Name one thing you think is criminally underrated by industry, society or culture and explain why.

Pollution, global warming, the problem with plastic. If we don’t do something soon to change our habits we will destroy our planet and all the life on it. David Attenborough is my hero.

What is your go-to boxset binge?

Love on Netflix.

Enough's enough: it's time the next Doctor Who was…

A woman. Already got there – hooray!

If you weren't you, who in the industry would you like to be?

If I wasn’t me I think I’d like to be my son, Ed Morrison, who is just at the start of his journey working in our industry – full of life, excitement and opportunities.
