Give us one reason why advertising is still brilliant in 2019.

Because our creative industries contribute about £90bn per annum to the UK economy.

In 2019, I'll be using blockchain to…

Enable Yonder Media to start tracking the influence and spread of Above & Beyond's ideas into mainstream Britain and the nooks and crannies of its societies and cultures.

You decide to launch a brand. What is it called and what does it do?

1Gen, a game-changing, unique, compact-vertical-axis wind turbine, which delivers a revolution in the provision of domestic and commercial electricity, at a significant cost reduction while being the "cleanest" turbine anywhere in the world. I shit you not, we're creating this for real.

When was the last time you felt professionally vulnerable and why?

When you've reached the point where your fantastic talent and team-play is no longer enough, you know it's time to go.

Who is your favourite Instagrammer and why?

Alexincolour – it's great to see an ex-Beyonder flourish and create their own social business from scratch.

You win the lottery. What would you do first?

Book a seat on Virgin Galactic so I can start a new movement in cosmic yoga.

Name one thing you think is criminally overrated by industry, society or culture and explain why.

Fortnite. Star Wars Battlefront II is a far superior gaming experience, because it has a frigging incredible storyline. God only knows how the folk at Epic Games managed to engineer Fortnite to be so sticky.

Name one thing you think is criminally underrated by industry, society or culture and explain why.

Caramac. No explanation required.

What is your go-to boxset binge?

Amazon Prime Video (obviously), offering the greatest source of filmic joy ever, ranging from Fear the Walking Dead to The Purge to world cinema, with a BFI upgrade to watch Donnie Darko and Letters from Baghdad.

Enough's enough: it's time the next Doctor Who was…

Idris Elba, so that we get to watch Katie Hopkins disgrace herself again with another racist rant.

If you weren't you, who in the industry would you like to be?

Mark Read. Mash things up a little, place big bets, small bets, recalibrate and experiment, because he's got everything play for and nothing much more to lose.
