Bye-bye the decade with no name. What are you relieved to draw a line under?I'm hopeful that Ed Sheeran has now peaked.
What’s your biggest hope for the decade ahead? That our new extreme climate doesn't turn London into Venice. I think that would be a pretty decent outcome given the current circumstances.
And what’s top of your professional to-do list for the 2020s?Become a successful TikTok influencer.
You have to job swap with someone in our industry for one month. Who would it be with and why?Anyone high up at Facebook. I just want to know how well they sleep at night.
Who is your best friend in the industry and why?Nick Barron (if PR counts as part of our industry). It's been so long, I'm no longer sure why we're friends.
What do you think the Friday feeling is?Pretty much the same as it was before it was memefied.
Who or what would you put into room 101 and why?The man who eats boiled eggs on my train most mornings.
If you could uninvent one piece of technology, what would you choose and why?The printing press. I think it all went downhill from there. Or maybe the wheel. I mean, why do we need wheels?
In the spirit of embracing failure… What has been your biggest screw-up?Thinking that it was socially acceptable to sew elbow patches on to one of my work cardigans.
What do you do to stay match fit?Walking the (new) dog has proved to be surprisingly good for staying trim.
What would be your darts walk-on music and why?Seven Nation Army is such a great walk-on track, isn't it? Shame it's been overused in football matches.
