Rampant gender inequality.

What’s your biggest hope for the decade ahead?

Obsoletion of all inequalities.

And what’s top of your professional to-do list for the 2020s?

Addressing inequalities.

You have to job swap with someone in our industry for one month. Who would it be with and why?

Alex Grieve. He gets to be Eric. I have to be Ernie. I want to be Eric for a while.

Who is your best friend in the industry and why?

I don't believe in hierarchy when it comes to friendship. I don't believe in hierarchy at all, for that matter.

What do you think the Friday feeling is?

That feeling after the Thursday feeling and before the Saturday feeling?

Who or what would you put into room 101 and why?

Pineapple. Unneccessarily aggressive outer, unnecessarily inedible inner.

If you could uninvent one piece of technology, what would you choose and why?

The handset. Look up people. There’s a whole world out there.

In the spirit of embracing failure… What has been your biggest screw-up?

Thinking our dog could cohabit happily with our rabbit and our guinea pigs and not have residual anger issues.
