You & Your Wedding boasts UK’s highest number of ad pages

It seems wedding magazines are the place to be for deal-hungry media sales people.

It seems wedding magazines are the place to be for deal-hungry

media sales people.

Following last week’s revelation that the US version of Conde Nast’s

Brides had landed the world record for being the biggest consumer

magazine ever created, You & Your Wedding is claiming a similar record

in Britain.

At 502 pages - including 325 pages of advertising - the January/February

issue of You & Your Wedding claims to be the biggest consumer magazine

ever produced in the UK. It tips the scales at a healthy three pounds

and publisher Aim Publications boasted that it is ’200 pages bigger than

its nearest competitor’.

Publisher Alexandra Hobson insisted that despite the launch of Eve

Pollard’s Wedding Day into an already crowded market, You & Your Wedding

is enjoying a continued increase in sales.

The ad sales team is only six-strong and is headed by group ad manager

Karen Eccles.
