180 wins five-way pitch for worldwide Glenfiddich account

William Grant & Sons has appointed 180 Amsterdam to the global advertising account for Glenfiddich whisky after a five-way pitch. The agency pitched against Lowe London, the US-based Mono, 10AM in Singapore and the incumbent, the US-based Merkley & Partners.

Glenfiddich kicked off the review in May, after it restructured its marketing department.

The global marketing director of the distiller, Steven Sturgeon, said: "180 came up with an idea that could resonate across the world. They are the ideal partner for us."
