Zoom.co.uk’s owner Associated New Media has terminated its contract

with 24/7 Media and brought advertising sales inhouse.

ANM’s 16-strong advertising sales team will start selling the fashion

and lifestyle portal in August.

Jo Mosaku, Zoom’s head of advertising and sponsorship, said: ’We have

had a very happy relationship with 24/7, but bringing the account under

our own roof gives us access to one of the best sales teams in the

industry.’

Pat Connolly, ANM’s head of sales, commented: ’Zoom and its clients can

only benefit from this move. They can take advantage of

cross-promotional deals across ANM’s top performing sites.’ These

include ThisIsLondon, BigBlueDog and UK Plus.

Connolly’s team can take online campaigns to offline audiences by using

press ads in Associated Newspapers’ range of titles. These include the

Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard and Metro.

It offers clients sponsorships, promotions, editorially customised

microsites and banners and buttons.

Zoom is an e-commerce site where users can buy clothes and electronic

gadgets from a range of ’Zoom rooms’. It is backed by retail partners

such as TopShop, Racing Green and Dorothy Perkins.
