Anheuser-Busch InBev taps into 90s nostalgia to revive one of the most memorable campaigns from the decade, the Budweiser frogs.
The ad by Mcgarrybowen introduces the bloated amphibians to a new generation to help launch Bud Light beer in the UK. This time, there’s a new member in the pond, a small blue frog, which lends its croak to an updated catchphrase: "Bud Light beer." The original frog trio debuted during the 1995 Super Bowl and went on to win top prizes at Cannes Lions and the Clio Awards. The new spot was written by Holly Fallowes and art directed by Charlotte Watmough. The production company was Framestore.
