The pair, who join the agency as senior creatives to work on a number of accounts, have spent the majority of their careers at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, where they created ads such as Levi's "twisted" and "undressed", Lynx's "animal attraction" and Audi's "Hendrix".

From BBH, they moved to Grey London and joined Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy for a six-month stint, before moving to TBWA two years ago.

Together, they have won three gold and three silver Lions at Cannes and various BTAA awards.

The team quit TBWA as the agency announced a restructure of its creative department. Al Young, TBWA's creative director, has been promoted to deputy executive creative director.

He will work closely with Steve Henry, the executive creative director, in running the department.

The restructure also sees Frazer Jellyman take on the head of art role, in addition to his creative director position. Tom Malt, the head of project management, becomes creative services director.

Paul Brazier, the executive creative director at AMV, said: "I'm delighted that Adam and Matt are going to join me at AMV. They are young but experienced, thoughtful but prolific."

Chiappe added: "We've had an interesting time at TBWA, but now feel it's time to move on to new challenges."
