With the Premier League on hold and the fate of next year's Olympics on the rocks, Adidas has launched a campaign hailing the sporting world's eventual return.
The ad looks forward to the world’s return to exercising outdoors, from playing contact sports to watching professionals on the small screen.
"We’ll compete again and create again, and when the time comes we will be ready," New York rapper Princess Nokia remarks amid clips of rugby, football and basketball stars at their finest.
Launched across Adidas’ global channels, the work was created by Gabi Mostert, Henry Scotland and Rachid Ahoiuyek, and directed by Gabi Mostert through Iris Pops.
This comes just one month after Adidas unveiled its new data-driven product GMR (pronounced "gamer"), which translates real-life football skills to improve players' performance in EA Sports' Fifa Mobile.
Earlier this month, Copa90 and EA Sports enlisted former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand for a series encouraging footy fans to play the beautiful game digitally.
