Aegis set to retain Deutsche Post as Starcom pulls out

LONDON - Aegis agencies, including Vizeum in the UK, look set to retain the estimated £100m global Deutsche Post account.

Aegis set to retain Deutsche Post as Starcom pulls out

This follows the decision by Starcom MediaVest Group to pull out of the pitch.

The German postal service kicked off the review in August in an attempt to drive down costs. The business is currently coordinated through Carat's operation in Wiesbaden.

DHL spends £4 in the UK and uses Ogilvy & Mather as its creative agency.

Starcom has also recently pulled out of pitches for Heinz and Lego across Europe.
