Agencies line up for £5m WWF account

WWF, the global conservation charity, is seeking an agency to handle its £5 million integrated advertising brief.

The charity has approached a number of undisclosed agencies with a view to holding a pitch, which will be handled through Agency Insight.

It is not known if WWAV Rapp Collins, the incumbent on the direct marketing brief, will repitch for the account.

The agency shares the account with its sister Omnicom company, DDB London. In 2003, the agencies split the business after a shoot-out against Proximity, the incumbent, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

The charity, which currently devotes a majority of its marketing spend to below-the-line activity, is looking for an agency with good direct response and digital marketing skills in order to increase its connection with consumers.

WWF declined to comment on the search.
