Agencies line up for Pretty Polly ad account

LONDON - Pretty Polly is looking for an advertising agency to handle its above-the-line account, with Isobel, Hurrell and Dawson, and the PR specialist Exposure competing for the business.

The lingerie company, which is owned by Courtaulds Textiles, has called the pitch in a bid to formalise its agency relationship within one shop.

Pretty Polly has traditionally commissioned one execution per year, and the winning agency will be briefed to continue this approach.

Although Exposure has been acting as Pretty Polly's main agency, other shops have been used to handle one-off briefs.

An example of this was Pretty Polly’s last piece of work, "stairway to heaven", which was launched in November last year and was created by its media agency Equinox.

The ad featured a shot of the model Ana T’s long legs as she ascended a ladder. It was displayed on the UK's tallest poster site.

Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy handled the account until 2004. It picked up the business in 2002.
