The company has approached an undisclosed number of agencies to produce an ad campaign for its Miss Sixty and Energie labels.
The Sixty Group currently produces much of its creative advertising in-house. Its forthcoming autumn and winter campaign for the men's line Energie was created by the Sixty Group creative director and co-founder Wichy Hassan, and features the up-and-coming British rock band Yeti.
Sixty Group's decision to involve a creative agency follows a similar search by the rival Italian clothing brand Diesel. In September 2005, the Paris-based fashion agency Leg beat Karmarama and TBWA\London in a three-way pitch for the EUR2 million pan-European creative account for Diesel's sub-brand 55DSL. Diesel's main brand was awarded to the Havas-owned Parisian fashion shop ER27 the previous April.
Sixty Group launched with the Energie line in 1989. The Miss Sixty label launched two years later.
The group operates more than 200 single brand stores and its products are available at almost 7,000 points of sale in more than 90 countries worldwide.
