The business is currently handled by DDB UK but the AHDB wants to increase awareness of how British pigs are raised with higher welfare standards than those on the Continent ahead of changes to European pork regulation, which could mean that the UK is swamped with cheap meat.

The AHDB has teamed up its roster of creative and media agencies to pitch for the business. This roster comprises: Beattie McGuinness Bungay, JWT London, Archibald Ingall Stretton, The Red Brick Road, DDB UK, TBWA\London, MPG Media Contacts, OMD UK and Universal McCann.

Recent activity behind UK meat products included a drive to encourage women to get involved with barbecues during last summer's football World Cup.
