Janet Davies wanted to look fantastic for the BBC Christmas party,
but had the usual problem of having to rush straight from work with
little chance of a refreshing break.
Happily, that day top hairstylist Trevor Sorbie was answering fans’
questions on the BBC’s celebrity online chat service. Davies e-mailed
Sorbie with her dilemma, and he graciously offered to perform a
tonsorial transformation on a select few members of staff.
’I got my hair swept up into an amazing style. Normally I’d have to join
a waiting list and pay pounds 100,’ Davies laughs. Not only did Sorbie
do a Cinderella on Davies, but her new ’do’ lasted way past midnight.
