Iain Duffy, field sales executive at the Evening Standard, says his
favourite jolly was a trip to last year’s rugby World Cup in Wales.
But Duffy’s job has thrown up many more perks.
’We have an annual conference at the end of May when we get to go all
over the place,’ exclaims Duffy. ’The whole department is invited and
there’s around 110 of us, so it’s a great experience.
’Last May we were taken to Portugal for the weekend. It was a nice
atmosphere and we all went out for drinks in the evenings. There was
lots of, erm, getting to know one another.
’The Evening Standard is great for perks but last year’s jolly to the
rugby World Cup will be hard to beat.’
