Lodging rental service launches largest TV and digital campaign to date
Airbnb launched the company's largest campaign to date with TV and digital ads that debuted Tuesday. The campaign was created by TBWA/Chiat/Day, which was named the agency of record for the brand in September.
The 15-, 30- and 60-second TV spots, called "Never a Stranger," tell the story of Elle, a frequent customer of Airbnb.
The ads turn a worrisome element of Airbnb — staying with strangers — into a plus. Throughout Elle's travels, her hosts give her insider information. A companion website details Elle's journeys in locales such as Japan, France and Mexico.
