Something strange is happening in Aldi stores across Australia.
Produce and products on the stores' shelves are talking back and advising shoppers what to put in their trolleys.
And it's not just the mushrooms. Loaves of bread and boxes of detergent are having their say about Lidl's range, which, in Australia at least, now includes organic coconut oil, chia seeds and goji berries.
The work has been created to shift shoppers out of automatic pilot and encourage them to take a look around at what's on offer throughout the store.
