Alexander McQueen "First light" by Jonathan Glazer

Legendary director Jonathan Glazer created an emotionally-charged film to debut Alexander McQueen's Spring Summer '21 collection.

Glazer worked closely with Sarah Burton, creative director of the fashion house, to make a film "grounded in the eternal, beating heart of London" – the River Thames. 

Burton described the project as: "Shape, silhouette and volume, the beauty of the bare bones of clothing stripped back to its essence – a world charged with emotion and human connection." 

The film was produced by Academy.
