Adecco Alfred Marks, the recruitment agency, has appointed Mitchell
Patterson Grime Mitchell to handle creative work on its first
advertising since last year’s merger.
It is understood to be spending pounds 2 million on a branding campaign
after Alfred Marks and the French company, Ecco Employment, merged to
form the world’s second-largest employment agency.
Mitchell Patterson pitched against Arc and Partners BDDH. Media buying
is yet to be finalised but is expected to go to John Ayling &
Associates, which pitched alongside Mitchell Patterson.
Andrew Mitchell, Mitchell Patterson’s managing partner, was not
available for comment.
The company is likely to return to TV for the first time since 1994.
Mitchell Patterson’s brief is to raise Adecco Alfred Marks’s profile
among jobseekers and clients and to point out that it has 200 branches
in the UK.
