By Mackenzie’s standards, the past 12 months have been relatively quiet; by anyone else’s, though, she has been very busy.

The former British Gas and BT marketer survived boardroom bloodshed at Aviva, helped the insurer return to profitability, and continued to inspire female marketers.

Mackenzie also lent her voice to the launch of The Marketing Society’s "Manifesto for Marketing", urging marketers to pursue a "positive role in the development of our society".

All in a year’s work for the likeable but determinedly efficient Mackenzie.
