Brazilian brewing company Ambev showed the benefits of recycling in a heartwarming short film, "Dear Trash." The spot, created in collaboration with SunsetDDB (part of DDB Latina), was created using some obvious recyclable materials, such as plastic and cardboard, and some non-obvious ones. The soundtrack, for example, includes audio produced by recyclable materials collected during Carnival in Brazil. The story begins with a water bottle coming to life in a factory. After a person drinks from the bottle and throws it on the ground, it's saved by a man picking up trash in the street, who takes it to a recycling center. The man and the bottle cross paths again in the street, but this time the bottle’s material has turned into a trash can. "Some things are forever. Plastic pollution cannot be one of them," the message reads.
