American Booksellers Association appoints Bozell

- The American Booksellers Association has appointed Bozell Worldwide, New York, to handle its $2 million (£1.2 million) integrated account.

Bozell will handle the launch of the Book Sense campaign, which is an effort by the US's leading association of independent booksellers to create a brand identity for independent book stores across the US.

The campaign, which will include advertising, direct response, interactive and special events marketing, marks the first time the association has mounted a branding and integrated marketing programme.
