The Defence and Security Equipment International event is being held this week at ExCeL in London.
Unsurprisingly, Amnesty International is displeased at the prospect of an arms fair in the capital. It has released a film, outdoor and print campaign – "the really big and far reaching ad campaign they never really wanted you to see" – that sarcastically promotes the event. The ads, by VCCP, draw attention to the possibility of killer drones and torture equipment being on sale at the government-sanctioned arms fair. The film ad is being be shown in cinemas and online.
