AMV BBDO scoops UK's only gold print Clio

LONDON - Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO was the only UK agency to secure a gold award at last night's Clio print awards.

The agency scooped a gold for its "inner child" campaign for the Museum of Childhood at the awards, which is now in its 50th year.

The Grand Clio went to the French agency CLM BBDO for its Alka-Seltzer "bear, paparazzi, magician, prison" campaign.

Other European agencies were also successful, with the Miami Ad School in Germany, McCann Erickson’s Madrid office and TBWA\Paris all securing gold awards.

Meanwhile, there were two Golds awarded in the DM category - one to Lowe Bangkok for its "torture test" campaign for Breeze Excel washing detergent, and the other to Philipp und Keuntje in Hamburg for its Chubb Nord-Alarm Security "balloon" campaign.
