So when Lindt Swiss Tradition chocolates started talking to Classic FM’s

sponsorship department, it was almost inevitable that there’d be a yodel

in the deal somewhere. Sponsorship executive Julian Rigamonti, Lindt’s

marketing manager Gavin Tarrant and Optimedia put together a

competition, starting this week, offering listeners the chance to win a

holiday in Switzerland. All they have to do is identify the classics

yodelled by Mary Schneider, who is famous in that somewhat specialised

field. Surprisingly, yodelled classics are not new to the radio station.

They regularly crop up on Classic FM’s late night Wednesday comedy slot,

The Latest Thing. See what we mean? Yodelling - hilarious.
