Ann Summers appoints Fiona Davis as marketing director

LONDON - Ann Summers has hired Fiona Davis as marketing director, replacing Julian Baker who left the company in January.

Davis has held roles at Wallis, BHS and the Early Learning Centre and has more recently been acting as a brand consultant for a number of high-street retailers.

The retailer, specialising in lingerie and sex toys, is currently embarking on an expansion programme, with plans to open 20 stores in the next year. It currently has 134 stores throughout the UK and Spain.

Paula Minowa, managing director at Ann Summers said: ‘We are thrilled to be able to welcome Fiona into the Ann Summers family. Her significant retail knowledge and experience will not only enrich the strength of the directorship, but will aid the business in its vision for long term growth and expansion.'

Julian Baker took up the position as vice president of marketing for TK Maxx earlier this year.
