Ammirati Puris Lintas has triumphed over competition from three
new-media specialists to take control of new-media marketing for its
client, NatWest.
NatWest’s new media was previously handled by a variety of agencies on a
project basis.
APL’s task will involve the evolution of design templates for all
new-media channels, including NatWest’s UK Internet and intranet sites,
kiosks, CD-Roms, PC banking and ATM interfaces.
The brief includes a redesign of NatWest’s main Website,
www.natwest.co.uk.
William Eccleshare, APL’s chief executive, said: ’This is yet another
indication that we have great talent and expertise in new media at the
agency. NatWest has big challenges ahead, and we look forward to working
closely with it.’
Ian Schoolar, NatWest’s head of brand communication, said: ’NatWest has
appointed a lead multimedia agency to ensure brand consistency across
new and emerging distribution channels. This appointment demonstrates
our commitment to new media and the importance of NatWest online.’
