- Ammirati Puris Lintas London has appointed the American, Steve Rabosky, as chief creative officer over the head of executive creative director, Nick Welch.
Rabosky joins from APL Worldwide in New York, where he was recruited six months ago from TBWA Chiat/Day.
His appointment comes two weeks after Andrew Cracknell, the chairman of APL in London and the man charged with revamping the agency's creative output, announced he was stepping down.
Rabosky will not only work alongside agency chief executive, Chris Thomas, focusing on the agency's creative output, but also has a remit to focus on worldwide projects, including Unilever. Welch will continue in his role and will keep responsibility for the key Rover account.
Prior to his recent arrival at APL, Rabosky spent 13 years at TBWA Chiat/Day Los Angeles, where he was appointed executive creative director /managing partner in 1995.
Rabosky said: "This is a chance to work in the most creative community in the world. It's an opportunity I couldn't turn down - professionally or personally."
APL has also promoted its strategic development director, Gerald Kreinczes, to the post of vice chairman, while the board account director Mark Cadman has been appointed client services director and Kate Bradford, formerly head of account management, becomes a managing partner.
