Three children will get the chance to star in Argos' Christmas ad on national TV.
The spot by CHI & Partners tells the story of a futuristic Christmas elf who discovers that one of Santa’s presents – a Teksta voice-recognition robotic puppy – has fallen off the conveyor belt, and then embarks on a mad dash to get the toy onto the rocket-powered sleigh before it takes off. The brand is launching a competition in which three young winners can feature in the ad themselves if their parents submit their photos, while everyone will be able to see their child’s face in a personalised social media version of the film. The ad was created by Hayley Hammond and Dan Dehlavi and directed by Gary Freedman through Independent Films.
