The 30-second TV spot, "Crooner", uses a beatboxing Bing Crosby performing for a group of adults and young children. One girl in the audience exclaims that Bing, with his great vocal skills, has "Argosed it".
Siobhan Fitzpatrick, Argos head of brand development, said: "The campaign supports the launch of our Christmas catalogue by celebrating our huge range of fantastically up-to-date Christmas gifts available in our catalogue, with even more online."
