Army push scoops top prize at Campaign Digital Awards

LONDON - The Army's Everest West Ridge Expedition campaign took top honours at last night's Campaign Digital Awards.

The campaign, which featured an attempt by an Army team to scale the West Ridge of Mount Everest, included live video footage shot by the climbers, which was used as part of a TV and radio campaign, as well as mobile phone downloads and video podcasts.

Overall, Dare received the most awards, scooping top prizes for its Lynx, Dare School and Sony Ericsson campaigns.

Mercedes' A-S site, by Agency Republic, picked up a silver award in the automotive category, while Meme's work for 118 118 was the winner in the telecommunications category.

Martin Brooks, the chief executive at Agency Republic and Zulu, was named Digital Achiever of the Year.
