Associated New Media invests in SmartFocus CRM system

LONDON – Associated New Media, the digital publishing division of Associated Newspapers, has chosen SmartFocus' Intelligent Marketing CRM system for data management.

ANM publishes websites including,, and

The system allows ANM to integrate in a single customer view different data sources from online registrations, subscription payments, website visit activity, competition entry detail and email campaign histories.

Its Campaigner application will enable ANM marketing teams to execute more effective email campaigns while reducing associated marketing costs.

Mark Milner, chief operating officer at ANM, said that the investment in the CRM improved the company's understanding of the needs of its consumers.

"The single customer view places ANM at the leading edge of CRM, offering our advertisers and partners highly targeted communications and campaigns across all of our brands," he said.
