Aviva has launched a TV ad to promote its new Drive app. Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO created the campaign and collaborated with Aviva on the app, which plugs into a car's GPS and assesses the driver on safety. Safe drivers can receive up to 20 per cent off their car insurance by sharing their score with Aviva. The TV spot features the comedian Paul Whitehouse as a leather-clad biker who turns out to be a safe hatchback driver. The spot was written by Dave Buchanan, art directed by Mike Hannett and directed by Declan Lowney through HSI.
