- The Bank of America has handed its $100 million advertising account to Bozell Temerlin McClain following a competitive pitch.
The Irving, Texas, based agency was the only shop remaining in the pitch following the withdrawal of Lowe & Partners/SMS, New York, earlier this month.
Amy Brinkley, marketing executive for the Bank of America. "We are tremendously excited about our future and we face it with enthusiasm. "We have great confidence in the capabilities of Bozell Temerlin McClain. Our search team was privileged to review a most impressive agency presentation, from strategy to creative, and we see a strong partnership developing. We're aiming to redefine the concept of bank advertising. We think Bozell Temerlin McClain is the perfect agency to do that."
Media buying, which is also up for grabs, has yet to be decided although GSD&M, Austin, Texas, announced that it has pulled of the media review. Its withdrawal follows that of Western International Media, Los Angeles, leaving TN Media, New York, along with an unspecified number of other shops.
