Barclaycard "Freedom Rewards" Bartle Bogle Hegarty

Barclaycard has released a campaign explaining how its Freedom Rewards credit card lets customers spend their points in a variety of shops. Bartle Bogle Hegarty created two humorous TV spots – "Chris" and "Simon" – which tell the unrequited love stories of two shopkeepers who are left bereft when the objects of their affection become free to shop elsewhere. The ads are supported by digital display, social media support, PR and advertorial executions. They were created by Jon Kallus and Ashidiq Ghazali, and directed by Martin Werner through Academy.
