BBC launches history magazine

The monthly title, BBC History Magazine, will launch in April and aims to build on the growth in the history books sector, which now top the non fiction market.

Nicholas Brett, director of BBC Worldwide's Radio Times, arts and factual publishing group, said: "What better way to toast the new millennium than with the birth of a new magazine and one that celebrates hotly in all its richness."
