BBC Magazines to launch Top Gear partwork magazine and website

LONDON - BBC Magazines is bringing out a partwork magazine aimed at young fans of 'Top Gear' called Top Gear Turbo Challenge on Wednesday.

The partwork features a magazine, a trading card collection and a gaming website aimed at seven to 14-year-olds.

Top Gear Turbo Challenge includes a cover-mounted pack of nine collectable trading cards on each issue.

The cards can be used to activate games on the dedicated website

BBC Magazines to launch Top Gear partwork magazine and websiteRare cards such as the "sub-zero Stig" card, which only appears in one in every one thousand packs, are among the collectables.

The first issue, out on Wednesday 6 January, is priced at £1.50 with subsequent issues priced at £2.50. The new launch will be supported by a TV ad campaign.
