BBDO wins $24 million drinks task

BBDO already handles Allied Domecq'a Beefeater and Kahlua brands in the US.

Stolichnaya's previous agency, Margeotes/Feritta & Partners in New York had to resign the account in December when it won Bacardi USA's Bombay Sapphire gin account.

The Stoli brand was previously distributed in the US by United Distillers & Vintners, which only spent $1m last year on marketing and advertising.

The brand is the second biggest selling vodka in the US, and fills an important gap in Allied Domecq's drink portfolio, which did not include vodka.
