The pair's "Scaramanga" ad for ITV1's Die Another Day campaign was judged the best of the month by Ben Tollet, a copywriter at Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy, and Emer Stamp, an art director at the same agency.
Two ads shared the runners-up position. These were a spot by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO for the Department of Health entitled "Rebecca", which was written by Simon Rice and Diane Leaver, and the "dealers" commercial for The Guardian's car supplement, which was created by the DDB London team Simon Veksner and Nick Allsop.
